Servers Under Maintenance
Repair servers as they fail and start overloading. Move and replace cables, buy fancy new shoes, and most importantly, drink lots of coffee.
Browser compatibility Issues:
The game is written from scratch in pure JavaScript so I didn't have time to work out any browser compatibility issues. It (should) run fine on Firefox and most modern browsers. If you're having trouble running it from itch.io, try downloading the .zip file and running it through there. Simply open the index.html file in your browser.
How to play:
WASD or Arrow Keys -> Move
Click the Tables to interact with them (must be standing next to them)
Click your Inventory (bottom left) to place/take items
Drink Coffee by clicking on yourself with the Item
Burnt cables turn black and need to be replaced with new ones
Drag Cable on top of itself to remove it
Be careful! Each server can only support 100 players at a time. If too many servers fail, they will start overloading.
Why does it fit the theme?
You are no longer the player but put in the shoes of a server maintenance guy who has to keep the game servers running. Roles Reversed, you're doing the dirty work now.
